Viola S. Hufgard of Allentown, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2008 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of the late Leonard H. Hufgard. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Viola was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Sadie L. (Bunting) Abbey. She was a member of St. Pauls Roman Catholic Church, Allentown. Viola was an ardent volunteer for LARC, Camelot House, Head Start and the Allentown Free Library. Her favorite pastimes were reading and walking.
Survivors: Surviving are daughters, Marlene Leggett of Yardley, Pa. and Carol, wife of Charles E. Clark, of Allentown; son, Robert L. and his spouse, Deborah, of Coopersburg. There are eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
