In Loving Memory ... Dr Simindokht D. "Simin" Azalea, psychologist/artist and Teacher. ( Simin D. Azalea, Simindokht D. Azalea, Simin D. Afzali, Simin Afzali, Simindokh D. Afzali ).
You may be gone, no longer living on this earth; but you will live on - in the memories of your family and friends. There will always be a part of you living in your family and those who knew you and loved you. You will live on because we remember you!
Dr. Simin Azalea, born in 1938, moved to the United States in 1974 with a Master's degree in Social Sciences (a mix of sociology and psychology), Simin attended Indiana University, earning a doctoral degree in Education and Administration.
Then she moved to Houston and went back to school for a second Master's degree in Psychology at the University of Houston, Clear Lake.
She has two daugthers. One lives in Houston, Tx and the other lives overseas.
She is a closet artist, who enjoys all media, recently exploring water colors.
Her house, where ever she is living, is filled with beautiful antique furniture, artwork she has produced herself, and a lovely outdoor garden and patio.
She would enjoy conducting a workshop on helping others find their own creative niche through drawing or painting. Participants will be asked to think of something that touched their life and explore artistic media that could represent that experience.
Dr. Simin Azalea was also a donor to African Childrens Haven. They support grassroots organizations that help Africa local kids lead healthier, more productive lives. They invest in a variety of projects, but place special emphasis on education, especially for orphans and children living in extreme poverty.
She was also active in the "S-R", a non-profit organization founded by Kathy Smith, created to offer life enhancing seminars and retreats to those ready to receive them. Dr. Simin Azalea, LSSP, conducted hands-on classes that focused on Emotions through Art.
LEXINGTON ISD - 2003 - 2004 Dr. Simin Azalea was hired as Psychologist for the school year.

My relatives in Iran are telling me that the new development in Iran is due to power struggle between successors of Khamenai who has an incurable cancer and apparently is not doing good.
He wants his son to be his successor. However, other influential mullas are fighting over this.
Rafsangani suggested a 4 member council to take over (including himself) and goes travels frequently to Qumm to get consensus from other influential mullas. He has not been successful so far. People don't like any of these people including Mosavi who was one of the founders of Iran revolution. These mullas are all related though marriage and they have no reputation in Iran. However, some young people play on whatever cards are in front of them and they justify that Mosavi may be better choice. However, the majority are aware of the risk.
