He was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on September 19, 1943. Johnny married Joyce A. (Crain) in Thornton, Arkansas on March 27, 1964, sharing forty nine wonderful years.
Johnny formerly lived in Arkansas, where he has worked for Benton Casket Factory for over five years. He also worked for Georgia Pacific and during this same time he was working along with the Forrestry Division as a tree spotter. Johnny worked over seven years as a sewing machine mechanic for McGehee Garment Factory before he and Joyce moved to Oklahoma in 1983.
Johnny attended the Hillcrest Free Will Baptist Church in Wagoner. He was an avid Hunter and fisherman, but he would be seen at many garage sales and auctions. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather and had strong family ties, showing his love.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martha Lane Sindle-Green-Rogers and Roy Barton "Barty" Green and one brother Larry Randle Green, Sr.
Johnny is survived by his loving wife Joyce A Crain of the home, two sons; Johnny Wayne Green and companion Tammy Whetsell of Ingleside, Texas and James Ronald Green and his companion Laura Cobb of Hulbert, Oklahoma, two grandchildren: Cameron Green-Foster and Ashley Green-Hogner and her husband Kirk Hogner of Muskogee, Oklahoma, one brother, Tommy Wayne Green of Sheridan, Arkansas, nieces, nephews other family members and a host of friends.
A memorial service was held at the Hillcrest Free Will Baptist Church with Brother Berka officiating. Arrangements were under the care of Shipman Funeral Home & Crematory.
