Veston Trimble, 89, Nancy, died Saturday, June 10, at Humana Hospital Lake Cumberland, following a short illness.
He was born in Naomi, December 17, 1899, the son of the late Crawford Trimble and Ligary Tarter. He was a farmer.
Survivors include two sons, Winfred Trimble and Wildon Trimble, both of Nancy; five daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Alene) Burkett and Mrs. Vertrees (Elizabeth) Norfleet, both of Nancy, Mrs. Carroll (Irene) Jasper, Westchester, Ohio, Mrs. Ernest (Bernice) Maples, Lexington, Mrs. Shirley (Maretta) Chaney, Nicholasville; and seven grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pearl Buchanan, who died March 25, 1987; one daughter, Mrs. William (Daphene) Simpson, who died October 23 1983; two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Morris and Hilsope Funeral Home, Science Hill, with the Rev. Dale Osman officiating.
Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery at Naomi.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. today at Morris and Hislope Funeral Home.
