Dallastown, April 14.—William H. Eberly died yesterday morning at 2:45 o’clock, at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Harry W. Ness, near this place. The deceased was in good health until Monday, when he suffered a stroke of apoplexy, which resulted in his death three days later.
He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Mamie V. Walker, Palmyra; Sterling Eberly, Windsor, and Mrs. Lydia M. Ness, of near this place; grandchildren, Clarosa M. Eberly, Sterling Everly, Gerald E. Eberly and Jean Eberly, of Windsor; Pearl E. Walker, Palmyra; Herbert L. Ness and Alverta M. Ness, of near this place. He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Frank Eberly, Christian Eberly, Albert Eberly, John Eberly and Edward Eberly, all of this place; Charles Eberly, Benjamin Eberly, Alice Dill and Katie Godfrey, all of York, and Mrs. Emma Stump, of Yoe. The deceased is the first of a family of 11 children of which he was the eldest, to be be claimed by death.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m., at his late residence with further services in St. Paul’s Reformed church, this place, at 1:45 o’clock. The pastor, the Rev. Hobart D. McKeehan, will officiate. Interment will be made in the Union cemetery, this place.
