Reverend Doctor John K. McKallip D.D [Doctor of Divinity]

A well known Presbyterian Minister; he served a number of pastorates before retiring namely at:
~ Elizabethtown ,Kentucky;
~ Uhrichsville, Ohio;
~ Bellaire, Ohio;
~ Beaver, Beaver County, Pennsylvania;
~ Punxsutawney, Jefferson county, Pennsylvania;
~ East Brady, Clarion County, Pennsylvania.

A son of Henry K. McKallip of Leechburg
He was twice married-1st to Margaret [sic-Marion] Wallace and
after her death in 1884 he was married on 11 December 1885 to Miss Mary Catherine Latshaw of Beaver County.
Due to ill health, he resigned in late 1902,when he moved to Parnassus.
He was survived by his wife and these known children :
~ Larry McKallip;
~ Elizabeth ;
~ Catherine ;
~ Harry ;
~ Archibald ;
~ John K. McKallip Jr.

A cenotaph memorial monument was erected for him following his death, in the Beaver Cemetery and Mausoleum on Buffalo Street in Beaver ,Beaver county, Pennsylvania.
