Ervin Patrick Sansoucie was born on Thursday, April 16, 1942 in Cruise, Missouri a son of the late, Juanita Leatha (DeClue) Clark and Leo Joseph Sansoucie. Ervin departed this life on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at his residence having reached the age of seventy-one years, four months and thirteen days.

Ervin was united in marriage to Margie Littrell on April 23, 1959 in Richwoods, Missouri and this union was blessed with four children.

Ervin is survived by two daughters, Trish Shelton of Potosi, Missouri; Lavonna Goff and husband, Avery of Robertsville, Missouri; two sons, Ervin Sansoucie, Jr. and wife, Debbie of DeSoto, Missouri; William Charles Sansoucie and wife, JoAnne of St. Clair, Missouri; four sisters, Virginia Lavengear and husband, Renna of Seattle, Washington; Aleene Gilpatrick and husband, David of Texas; Belinda Ache and husband, Stan of Park Hills, Missouri; Bridgette Sansoucie of DeSoto, Missouri; four brothers, Jimmy Clark and wife, Jean of St. Angelo, Texas; Glen Clark and wife, Shirley of Rome, Georgia; Dennis Clark and wife, Becky of Dallas, Texas; Joey Sansoucie of Park Hills, Missouri; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his mother and father, Ervin was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bill Clark, his wife, Margie Sansoucie, one sister, Donna Clark and son-in-law, Ed Shelton.

Ervin loved playing music especially bluegrass for the past forty-five years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors enjoying the beautiful gifts of Mother Nature, hunting, fishing and archery. Ervin also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, who will all miss him dearly.

Visitation was held Monday, September 2, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Ray Littrell officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Brandon Sansoucie, Nathan Finley, Kyle Sansoucie, Chase Newhouse, Tyler Courtois, Patrick Clark, Joe Clark and Brandon Ache.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Prospect Cemetery, Lonedell, Missouri.
