Roy C. Hutter of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away Thursday August 29, 2013 at the age of 78 years. Roy was born June 26, 1935 in Freeland, MI the son of the late Carl & Rosetta (Engerer) Hutter. Roy served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Amelith. Roy was also a member of Carpenters local #706, a charter member of the Kochville Fire Department. He retired from Gregory Construction.

Surviving besides his wife Arlis are their children; Philip (Debbie) Hutter, Todd (Karen) Hutter, Dan (Heather) Hutter, Wendy (Mark) Breen, seven grandchildren; Jake, Drew, Kelsie, Courteney, Austin, Bryana, Tyler, a sister Vi (Jimmy) Moore. A sister, Arlene Schlicker predeceased him.

Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at St. John Lutheran Church, Amelith, 1704 Amelith Rd. Bay City. Rev. Stephen P. Starke will officiate with burial at St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
