BRENTON — Frank Eugene Adams, 79, of Brenton, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital following a short illness.

Born February 11, 1934, in Wyoming County, he was the son of the late Enoch Miller Adams (1905-1976) and Amanda "Manda" Walker-Adams (1907-1968).

Frank was a member of the Indian Creek Community Church. He enjoyed going to church, hunting, fishing, being with his grandchildren and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Trent-Adams (1940-2004) whom he married on July 13, 1957 in Pineville, Wyoming County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, Wyoming County, WV, 1957, Page 87, Application Date: July 11, 1957); a great-grandson, Jadon Brown (Deceased); two brothers, Willard Adams (1928-Deceased) and Ora Lee Adams (1947-2008); two sisters, Ruby Beatrice Adams-Lester (1939-1982) and Louise Adams-Lester (Deceased); and son-in-law, Junior Smith (Deceased).

Survivors include two sons, Jeff Adams and his fiancée Rhonda Moore of Summersville and Joey Adams and his wife, Dawn Adams, of Pineville; a daughter, Diana Adams-Hart and her husband, Jackie Hart, of Coal City; two sisters, Ella Effie Adams-Shields (B. 1932) of Pineville and Mary Helen Adams-Criner of Odd. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Frank's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 31, 2013, in the Calfee Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Scott Cline and Pastor Bill Rose officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny.
