Adam Luther Kibler
Big Bow - Adam Luther Kibler, 74, died Thursday at the Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital, Ulysses, following a sudden illness. Born May 16, 1896, in Cook County, Tex., he married Elsie M. Button Aug. 22, 1936, in Boise City, Okla. They moved to Big Bow in 1942 from Las Animas, Colo. He was a veteran of W.W. I and was a farmer.
Survivors include the widow; a son, A.L. Kibler Jr., Lakewood, Calif.; daughters, Mrs. Mary Jane Rhodes, Bayou Vista, La.; Terri Lei Kibler, of the home; brother, L.K. Kibler, Casper, Wyo.; sisters, Mrs. Fannie Stevens, Happy, Tex.; Mrs. Grace Powell, Shamrock, Tex.; four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Chapel, Ulysses; Rev. Eldon Fry. Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.
