NEWBURY — Gloria M. Adams, 78, of Newbury, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Portsmouth, N.H., with loving family by her side.
She was born in Peabody on Dec. 11, 1930, a daughter of the late Henry and Margaret (Madruga) Gill.
Mrs. Adams grew up in Peabody, and was a graduate of Peabody High School. She loved spending time with her family as well as gardening, cooking, and sewing. She had a big heart and always put everyone's needs before hers.
She is survived by Howard, her husband of 58 years, daughters Kathleen Foley and husband Timothy, and Cynthia L. Adams all of Newbury, sisters Eileen and husband James Stathos, Carolyn and husband James Gilbert all of Peabody, sister in-law Helen Gill of Inglewood, Fla., grandchildren Shauna and Kasey Foley of Newbury, several nieces and nephews, many loving friends, and granddog, Bob.
Mrs. Adams was predeceased by her brother Henry Gill.
