Ethel M.Lang, 97, of Norwalk, CA, but formerly of Hillsboro, died on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Villa Elena Health Care Center in Norwalk, CA.

There will be no formal services.

Mrs. Lang was born on April 23, 1916, in rural Hillsboro, a daughter of the late Roy L. and Ora Mae (Taulbee) Watson.

She married Baun A. Lang in Hillsboro, on Dec. 25, 1934, in a double wedding with friends June Pease and Leota Burris. Her husband preceded her in death on April 15, 1989.

While in Hillsboro, she worked at the pillowcase factory and the Hillsboro dress factory. After moving to California with her husband in 1945, she worked for an airplane manufacturer.

Mrs. Lang is survived by three brothers, Wayne Watson of Litchfield, Jesse Watson of Swartz Creek, MI, and Jim Watson of Donnellson; and two sisters, Essie Collins and Norma Baker, both of Hillsboro.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Watson of Hillsboro and Arlin Watson of Tomball, TX, and three sisters, Dorothy Hemken of Walshville, Myrtle "Peggy" Robison of Paden, OK, and Rosa in infancy.
