Mrs. L. C. (Bess) Ahlsch¬wede. Appleton, Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, February 12, following a lingering illness; She was born September 30, 1864 at Belvidere,. Nebraska.
She was a member of the First Methodist Church and Rebecca Lodge at Appleton.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Marian Vint, a son, Joseph L. Ahlschwede of Appleton, three sisters Mrs. J E. Palmer, Hebron, Nebraska, ‘Mrs. Chris Backer, Nampa, Idaho, Mrs. Frank Stewart, Lexington., Nebraska. and a sister-in-law, Mrs. H. E. Barbee Hebron, Nebraska.
Funeral Services were: held at the Valley Funeral Home, Appleton., Wisconsin, Friday, February, 14, with the Rev. Herman. Thomas officiating.
Interment was at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton, Wisconsin.
Mrs. Ahlschwede and family were former residents of Thayer County. before moving to Wisconsin.
