Obituary:

Alfred Hamilton, 73, of 4604 Seneca St., West Seneca, formely of Ithaca, died Thursday, July 4, 1996 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo. Born in Cortland, he was the son of the late Raymond Lester Hamilton and Lena Hicks Hamilton. He was a lifelong farmer and a member of the Resurrection Life Fellowship in Cheektowaga. Mr. Hamilton is survived by his son, Alfred {Mary Ann} Hamilton; three daughters, Lena Jean Hamilton Nicholas {Michael William, II} of West Seneca; Alfreda Jean Hamilton Schultz {James Jerome} of Buffalo; and Alice Rickard Hamilton of North Carolina; 13 grandchildren; two brothers, Edward Hamilton and John Hamilton of Ithaca; three sisters, Katherine Connelly of Ithaca, Alice Eastman of Newfield, and Charlotte Deprimo of Elmira; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 1996 in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden, the Pastor Kenneth Lomardo officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the E. C. Wagner Funeral Home of Ithaca.
