Donald Wesley Abbott, 82, of 1434 S. E. Creston Avenue, died of a heart ailment Monday at home. No services have been planned. The body will be cremated.
Mr. Abbott was born in Elmore, Minnesota and lived in Des Moines for 37 years. He was a retired desk clerk for the Rogers Hotel.
Survive include his wife, Aurilla; two sons, Donald Jr. of Rockford and Norman R. of Des Moines; three daughters, Donna Jeanne Calahan of Mason City, Anita J. Good of Marshalltown, and Lennice Kuskulis of Rowland Heights, California; 17 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
