Abraham G Greenwalt (son of Abraham F, grandson of Joseph) was born 16 Apr 1876 in Washington County, Maryland, and died 16 Sep 1954 in Sandy Hook, Washington County, Maryland of a cerebral hemorage. He was a farmer in Loudoun County until about 1916. He moved across the Potomac River to work as lock-keeper of Lock 33 of the C&O Canal. After the flood of 1924, the C&O closed shop. For the next couple years he worked at odd jobs until become a boilermaker for the B&O Railroad.

He married Mary Magdalene Mirley 14 Apr 1900 in Harpers Ferry, Jefferson County, West Virginia. She was born 05 Oct 1880 in Washington County, Maryland, and died 11 Sep 1967 in Sandy Hook, Washington County, Maryland.

Funeral services were held at the Greenwalt residence in Sandy Hook, Maryland on Thursday, September 16, 1954, at 2:00 pm. Clergyman was Rev J.W. Seay. Pallbearers were Roy W Greenwalt, Lewis Hackley, Charles Greenwalt, James Greenwalt, Joseph Greenwalt, and Howard Hackley. Music was provided by the Sandy Hook Choir.
