Mary Morris
Funeral services for Mary Jane Morris will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, at the Lamb Funeral Home, Howell. The Rev. Carl Angel will officiate, Burial will be in Riddle Cemetery, Oceola Township.
Mrs. Morris, 95, of Howell, died Oct. 2 in Ohio. She was born May 11, 1893, in Kentucky, a daughter of William and Leona (Mann) Jewell. She married Monroe Morris in 1943, he preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son, James G. Lucas of Belleville; four daughters, Allie Heck of Texas, Elsie L. Holderness, Anna Davis and Viola Howe, all of Howell; a brother, Victor Jewell of Kentucky; 32 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Odel Lucas and Arthur Ketchum.
