Morton B Abelson, 91, of State College, died Monday Feb. 5 1996 at Brookline Village in State College.
Born Feb 8, 1904 in Philadelphia, the son of Jacob and Ida Bailey Abelson. On May 7, 1938 in Cumberland, Maryland he married Geraldine Confer, who survives.
He was a graduate of Philadelphia Art & Textile School. He studied design at Pennsylvania Museum of Industrial Arts in Philadelphia. He managed the Bellefonte’s Markland Hotel. He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 1094 of Bellefonte.
