Daughter of Joseph and Ann Bevins Medhurst.

Mrs. R.B. Andrus, residing in Fenton, died on the 24th of May ... and was buried in the Erie cemetery on Sunday the 26th... Mrs. Andrus was a kind hearted woman, well liked in our community and will be missed by all. She was born in Lestershire (sic) England, May 10, 1827 and was married to Roswell B. Andrus, June 17, 1847. She has been a resident of this county over 32 years, coming from Knox county, Ill. Three children survive her. The oldest daughter married Mr. A.B. Haier (sic) and resides in Lyndon; the second daughter married Supervisor R.C. Williams and resides in Jordan; the third, a son, resides at the home in his lonliness. Father and mother both gone (Mr. Andrus died March 30th last). In two short months death has desolated a once happy family.
