Reiley attended Lafayette College in Easton, PA in 1836-1841; graduated from Miami University in 1842; studied at Princeton College in NJ for 2 years; licensed May 16, 1844; preached at Port Carbon; ordained at Blairstown and Knowlton NJ 11-18-1845; after a pastorate of 21 years, he removed in 1866 to East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana, where he had a plantation and performed regular missiomary service until his death, of yellow fever, Sept, 30, 1878, at age 61...The Record of the Men of Lafayette College, by S.
