Born Sept. 29, 1918, in Lincoln, Neb., she was the daughter of William L. and Elsie E. Durr Titus. On Aug. 24, 1945, she married Eldred J. Kron in Burlington. He died Dec. 24, 1981.
Mrs. Kron was a homemaker. She also was a beauty operator at several Burlington shops before her marriage.
She was a graduate of Burlington High School and Burlington Beauty School. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Burlington and had been a longtime financial secretary at the Methodist Church in Nauvoo, Ill.
Survivors include one son, James E. Kron Sr. of Quincy, Ill.; one daughter, Susan E. Kron of Quincy; two grandchildren; six nieces; two nephews; one aunt, Mildred Durr of Burlington; and one sister-in-law, Dorothy Titus of Burlington.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
