Amanda Marie Knighton Stafford, 27, of 138 Village Green Circle in Princeton died Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Princeton Community Hospital. Born March 17, 1985, in Charlottesville, VA she was the daughter of David Knighton and Donna Dodson Knighton both of Orange, VA. Amanda was a graduate of Orange County High School in Orange, VA and a graduate of Concord University with a BS Degree in Education. She was a special education teacher at Glenwood School in Princeton. Amanda attended Johnston Chapel Baptist Church in Princeton and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Barboursville. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Michael Justin Stafford of Princeton; son, Levi Michael Stafford of Princeton; grandmother, Emma Dodson of Orange, VA; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mike and Margaret Stafford of Princeton. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 1, 2012, at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Orange, VA with Pastor Mort Robson officiating. A second memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Friday, November 2, 2012, at Johnston Chapel Baptist Church in Princeton with Pastor Jim Simmons officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Pisgah Cemetery in Princeton. Friends may call from 12:00 Noon until the service hour Friday at Johnston Chapel Baptist Church in Princeton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Amanda Knighton Stafford Scholarship Fund, Concord University Foundation, PO Box 1405, Athens, WV 24712.
