She was born Feb. 14, 1900, in Hendricksville, Ind., daughter of Alonzo and Gracie (Abram) Hendricks.
She married Archie Freeman. He died in 1992.
She was a member of Lady Elks and Escanaba Country Club.
Survivors include: two sons, Lloyd (Lillie) Freeman, Iron Mountain, and Richard (Carol) Freeman, Escanaba; three daughters, Ruth Eastburn of Seattle, Bettie Maddox, West Allis, Wis. and Joan (Ronald) Anderson, Gladstone; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathryn Borges, and two grandchildren.
Private services were held Tuesday at Boyce Funeral Home in Escanaba with Rev. Ronald Swanson officiating. burial was in Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
