ABRAM WAITE.
Died Suddenly of Apoplexy at His Home in Birmingham.
At 9.40 o'clock Tuesday evening, Abram Waite died from an attack of apoplexy at his home in Birmingham. He was ill only a few hours. Born on the 9th of May, 1832, he was aged at death 69 years, 7 months and 22 days. He had resided at Birmingham the past twenty-three years and was a laborer by occupation.
Deceased was a member of the United Brethren church for twenty-five years and was an exemplary man. His wife died sixteen years ago. He is survived by the following sons and daughters: James T. Waite, Mrs. Sarah C. Baker and Mrs. Mary E. Stewart of Birmingham; Abram M. Waite, John E. Waite and Mrs. Annie N. Focht, of Williamsburg. These four brothers also survive: John Waite, of Tyrone; Samuel Waite, of Altoona, and George and Thomas Waite, of Ironsville.
The funeral will be held Friday forenoon. Services at the Birmingham United Brethren church by Rev. M.O. Lane at 10.30 o'clock. Interment at the Birmingham Methodist cemetery.
