Married Myrtle Nations on Oct. 2. 1901 at the home of J.W. Nations. Myrtle's father. We have posted their wedding picture.
Arthur was a very successful rancher in the Tularosa basin. He was civic minded, serving on the Alamogordo School Board and the Town Board.
He had such an infectious laugh that the owner of the Alamento Theatre offered him a free ticket to attend. Friends say they missed his laugh after he was gone. He died of a heart attack at age 64
