He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Eastern Michigan University. He worked as a Sales Representative in Automation Supplies; and former owner Professional Auto in the 1980's.
Mr. Cole was a loving and devoted family man – his children were his life, and he cherished time spent with them. He also enjoyed his home and working around the house. He loved to fix anything and everything; he loved to cook and he loved to share everything he had. He also enjoyed his former cottage in the Lupton/Rifle Lake area.
His wife was Carol (nee: Messano) Cole, whom he married April 14, 1984. A Daughter: Sarah and son, Andrew. brother/sister-in-law: Paul and Pam Messano. Sister/brother-in-law: Mary and Terry O'Rourke. Brother/sister-in-law: Richard and Jan Messano, Lifelong friend: Dale and Donna Foote.
