His parents were Jeremiah and Mary Moriarty Lyons both buried at Bracewell Cemetery, Warren, Trumbull Co Ohio. Julia's mother was Julia Helen Sheehy/Sheehey born circa 1837 Ireland died circa 1886 probably Manhattan. Her parents were John Shehan and Honora?. Julia's sibling were as follows John Lyons 1864-1876, Mary Lyons Brown 1866-1893, Jeremiah Lyons 1869-1891, Elizabeth Marie Lyons 29 Mar 1871 died 9 May 1910 Baldwin Long Island, (Elizabeth was married to George William Loft 1865-1943. Both are buried at Old St. Raymonds in the Bronx, Ellen Lyons 1873-1880. All the children were born in Manhattan probably. Death dates were taken from Julia's memory so may not be correct. They lived most of their married life in the Newark NJ area, a couple of years in Washington DC and retired to St. Petersburg, FL where George died 5 Dec 1951 buried Royal Palm Cemetery, St. Petersburg. Julia moved back to NJ, spent a year in Washington, DC living with her son George Francis Seymour III (1912 Manhattan-1968 Hampton, Virginia buried Veterans Cemetery Hampton), moved back to NJ and lived the Morristown area until her passing.
