Moore, Eugene, age 91, of West Carrollton, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013. Eugene retired from Dayton Walther.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Bessie (Pelfrey) Moore; parents: William H "Bill" & Ethel(Barker) Moore of Fillmoore, KY; brothers: Joseph, Harold & Carlisle; sisters: Opsie, Faristene, Lucille, Euphema Ogans & Alene Long; and daughter-in-law: Phyllis Moore.

He is survived by five sons: Charles (Carol), Donnie (Vickie), Bobby, Jeff & Vailous; 15 grandchildren: Tim, Kelly, Pat, Kirsten, Angie, Tracy, Jason, Jeremy, Chad, Shaun, Matthew, Seth, Adam, Melissa & Bobby; and numerous great grandchildren. Eugene was a United States Army veteran proudly serving during WWII, landing in the first wave on Omaha Beach during D-Day Normandy invasion, earning EAME Theater Ribbon with 5 Bronze Stars and Bronze Arrowhead.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment will follow the service at Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Centerville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
