Marian Just, 81, Bismarck Baptist Home, died Jan. 31, 1999, in the nursing home. She was born Feb. 1, 1917, at Hague, the daughter of Lorenz and Marian (Schweitzer) Senger. She received her elementary education in the local rural school, and her high school education in Linton. Marian married Ephraim Just in 1935, in Hague. They farmed for a few years, then owned and operated the Oasis Bar in Berlin for eight years. They then operated a grocery store there for another five years, after which they moved to Fargo. They owned and managed an 11-unit apartment complex for six years. Her husband, Ephraim, died in 1965, in Fargo. In 1989 she moved to Bismarck to be near her family. She was a member of Eagles Auxiliary.

Marian is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Marian was preceded in death by one daughter, Bertha Bernice; her parents; four brothers, Matheis, John, Michael and Leo Senger; and two sisters, Barbara Schweitzer and Kathryn Kraft.
