Hazel E. (Kross) Leland, 90, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012 at home. Born in Berne, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Rose Moore. She lived in Guilderland for all of her life. Hazel worked for General Electric Company for over forty years before retiring. She enjoyed her monthly luncheons with her co-workers after her retirement. Hazel loved traveling with her late husband, especially to Ireland, Alaska and California.
She is the beloved wife of the late William "Willie" Leland. She is the devoted mother of David (Laura-Jo) Kross and the late Walter Kross. Hazel is the cherished grandmother of Katie Jensen, Heather (Ron Surdam) Kross, Amber (Aaron) Hensley and Stephanie Kross. She is the adored great-grandmother of Daniel, Jordan, Cain and Maddie. Hazel is the loving sister of Ernest Moore, Jr., Betty Moore, Allyn (Concheta) Moore and the late Alfred and Richard Moore. Also surviving is her lifelong friend, Jean Regan, several nieces and nephews and her canine companion, "Coco."
