Erb, -- Albert D., son of the late Joseph Erb, was born near Sugarcreek, Ohio, April 18, 1876; died of cerebral hemorrhage at the San Antonio Hospital, Upland, Calif., July 24, 1951; aged 75 y. 3 m. 6 d.
On Jan. 11, 1914, he was united in marriage to Aldora Lantz, who preceded him in death in 1939. On Sept. 24, 1949, he was united in marriage to Alice Horst, Upland, Calif., whom he leaves.
He leaves also 5 stepdaughters, 2 stepsons, and one sister (Susie Erb, of Oregon).
In youth he united with the Mennonite Church, remaining faithful until death. He spent most of his life in Oregon, moving to Upland, Calif., in 1950.
Funeral services were in charge of Will Guengerich and Sherman Maust. Burial was made in the local cemetery.
