Jimmie Foster Ratliff, 59, of Millers Creek, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003, at Pikeville Methodist Hospital.
He was born in Pikeville, Dec. 12, 1944, a son of the late Stonie and Ona Blackburn Ratliff.
He was self-employed by Ratliff Coal Sales.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gail Thompson Ratliff.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Fuller Ratliff; one son, Stephen Ratliff of Pikeville; one daughter, Stephanie Ratliff of Pikeville; three brothers, Hillard Ratliff of Maryland, Howard Ratliff of Pikeville, Donnie Ratliff of Riverton, W.Va.; one sister, Joan Edmonds of Pikeville; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, in the Lucas & Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Williamson and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Ratliff Family Cemetery. Arrangements are under direction of Lucas & Hall Funeral Home of Pikeville.
