YORKTOWN - Annie Laurie Crawford, 90, died Friday, Jan. 27, 1995.

Miss Crawford was a native of Troy, S.C., attended Lander University, Greenwood, S.C., and received a diploma from Highland Hospital School of Nursing, Ashville, N.C. She earned a B.S. degree from the University of Washington, Seattle, Wash., received a Master of Education degree from University of Minnesota, St. Paul, and was awarded fellow from the American Academy of Nursing. Miss Crawford retired as assistant professor, School of Nursing, Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn., in 1973.

Miss Crawford served in the Navy Nursing Corp. during World War II. She had made her home in Yorktown since her retirement. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Comte de Grasse Chapter of D.A.R., and the Yorktown chapter of the Virginia Association Preservation of Virginia Antiquities.

She is survived by one sister, Elizabeth Swank, of Yorktown; and one brother, Jack Crawford, of Indian Head, Md.

A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, Jan. 30, 2 p.m. in Grace Episcopal Church Cemetery, Yorktown, with Rev. Carleton Bakkum. Memorials to Grace Episcopal Church Building Fund, 111 Church St., Yorktown, Va. 23690.

Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, is in charge of arrangements.
