Gerald Elliott Jr., 67, of West Memphis, Arkansas died Monday, September 2, 2013. Mr. Elliott was a Corpsman in the Third Marine Division of the Navy and a Vietnam Veteran. He was also a member of Avondale Baptist Church.
Mr. Elliott is survived by his wife, Judy Elliott; one daughter, Whitney Smith (David) of Arkadelphia, Arkansas; two grandchildren; two sisters: Sheri Jeffress of Franklin, North Carolina and Patricia Ballou of Louisville, Kentucky; and a brother, Glenn Exum of Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 6, 2013 at Avondale Baptist Church in West Memphis, Arkansas from 10:00-11:00 A.M., with services following at 11:00 A.M..
Interment will be at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the 8th Street Mission, PO Box 7, West Memphis, Arkansas 72301.
