The story of Peter is beyond words. He was critically wounded in July of 1967. It was a miracle that he survived. Peter got married in the VA Hospital while recovering. He passed away on Feb. 15, 1973 due to complications from the wounds he received in Vietnam. His name was added to the Vietnam Memorial Wall in 1991. I feel that Peter wanted to be found. It was an honor to find him. Another bridge is made from his final resting place to his name on the wall. He shall not be forgotten.
