[The son of Thomas O'Brien and Nora O'Connell, both from County Clare, Ireland, he was the youngest and last survivor of seven siblings.] Preceded in death by brothers: Rev. Vincent O'Brien, O. Carm., Emmett, John, Joseph; sisters: Sr. Nora O'Brien, O.P. and Mary Therese Austin.
As a young man Jerry proudly served overseas in the United States Army. He was in the transportation business and a salesman to the core. He always led with integrity, delivered on commitments and invested in relationships - making sure he served his clients. Jerry loved his family, was a man of great faith and a huge sports fan - especially when it came to watching his grandchildren.
