Born on September 12, 1929, the last son of Harry C. and Minnie Mae Lucas nee Lowers.

After graduating from high school in Freeport, PA, in 1947, he joined the Air Force. On December 29, 1948, he married his high school sweetheart, Madeline M. Williamson. They were married 56 years, with 8 children - 5 boys and 3 girls. He was grandfather to 15 children and great grandfather to 8 children, upon his death.

Harold was a jet mechanic and financial analyst in the Air Force, retiring from Mather Air Force Base in 1968 with 20 years of service. He was stationed in Germany, Italy, France, Thailand, Laos and was a Korean and Viet Nam war veteran. After retiring, he worked as an electrician on nuclear submarines at Mare Island Naval Station, in Vallejo, CA.

He attended Trinity Bible College in Sacramento, CA and loved to study the bible and sing old spiritual hymns. Harold was also an avid San Francisco 49er and Pittsburgh Steeler football fan. He enjoyed family get-togethers and "Mom's home cookin'."

His sense of humor, wit and mischievous grin will be deeply missed.
