Her first marriage was to Roy Eugene Tipps - 3 Feb 1933 - Lincoln County, Tennessee. After his death, she married William Rufus Parks - 5 Oct 1945 - Madison County, Alabama.

Her Obituary:

Funeral services were conducted Sept 2 at Higgins Funeral Home for Mrs. Floy Dixon Johnson Parks of Mulberry, who died Friday (Aug. 11, 1990) in Lincoln Skilled Care Center after a long illness. She was 96.

The Rev. Charles Hicks and the Rev. Bruce Potter officiated. Burial was in
Mulberry Cemetery beside her husband, Rufus Parks.

A native of Marshall County, Mrs. Parks was the daughter of the late Henry Kay and Sally Dixon Johnson. She owned and operated Tipp's Grocery in Mulberryfor 25 years and taught music in
Mulberry and Marshall County for 25 years, Mrs. Parks was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a step-daughter, Mrs. Christine Kimes of Fayetteville; a step-grandson; and two great-grandchildren.
