Formerly on the Mechanicville police force, Mr. Eberle had been a resident of Hoosick Falls for 35 years. He was widely known in musical circle as the father of Bandleaders Ray and Bob Eberle, and was at one time vocalist at the old Lyric theatre in Hoosick Falls.
