I don't know much about his childhood. He was actually my step-father. But people couldn't tell. He always treated us just like his own two, he loved us all. He was a good man, he worked hard all he could. He was so good to my mother. He would make things and take junk to the flea market every weekend and all the money he made he used to pay her credit card. He was always a gentleman to her, and he made her happy. I wil forever cherish him for that. He worked hard politically in the county, was a member of the rescue squad, he was even the one who registered me to vote when I turned 18. I love my biological father, Paul Richard Evans, very much, but with Hoss, he was just as much a dad as a man could be. I carry the things he taught me with me, and am thankful God blessed me with the opportunity to have two fathers.
