Son of Edward Anderson and Mary Nelson Anderson (both of whom emigrated from Sweden to Hartford, Connecticut in the early 1880's);

Brother of Olof, Fritz, Phillip, Ethel and Mabel Anderson;

Husband of Myrtle Wilhemine Difloe, whom he married October 14, 1913 in Detroit, Michigan;

Father of Dorothea Myrtle Anderson, born November 14, 1917 in Detroit, Michigan.

David was trained as a Die Maker in Hartford, Connecticut; when he moved to Detroit he worked for the Ford Motor Company as Tool Shop Foreman.

In October 1918 a "Flu Pandemic" broke out, killing over a thousand people in Michigan alone. By December David Anderson was afflicted with that same influenza.....he developed pneumonia and passed away 3 days later, at the age of 29, on December 19, 1918.
