Mr. Bigelow moved to Riverton when a young man and was employed at the old distillery in that city for a number of years. He later worked at the brick making trade and after that was employed as a mine hoisting engineer.
He was a member of the Union lodge at Riverton A.F. and A.M.
Surviving are his wife; one son, John; and two daughters, Emma and Josie, all of Spaulding; two brothers, Alvin, of Shelbina, Mo.; and Orson, of San Bernadino, Calif.; one sister, Ada, of Cleveland, O.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the family residence.
Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery.
