James E. Abbott, 61, of 527 W. Main st., former employe of the Madison Yellow Cab Co., died Friday (Feb. 12, 1965) in a hospital after a long illness.
He was born in Milwaukee, moved to Madison eight years ago, and formerly worked for the American Family Plan Album Co.
He is survived by his wife, Irene; a brother, John Garrigan, Chicago; and three step-brothers, Donald Kjin, 215 E. Mifflin st.; Edwin Kjin, 502 Ludington ave.; and Al Kjin, Madison.
The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Raphael Cathedral, 218 W. Main st., with Msgr. Edward Kinney, rector, officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at the Joyce funeral home, 540 W. Washington ave., where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday."
