Ruby E. of Yukon, passed away February 17, 1999, after a long and courageous battle with emphysema and complicated illnesses. She was born in Milisay, OK on November 23, 1926, to A. Clarence and Rosetta (Thrasher) Barker, one of six brothers an sisters, attending Yukon Schools. Ruby was a beautiful person in every way and was so loved by her family and friends. She loved her independence and was a person of strong conviction and great courage. She loved cooking and working in her yard. Ruby was devoted to her sons and no one could had a better mother. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and being their "Me-Ma." Her wonderful spirit touched all of us, and we will miss her so. She was preceded in death by her parents and two of her four sons, Karl Hollis and Mike Rush. She is survived by two sons, Rick Weig of Tulsa and Tom Hollis of OKC; her husband Charles Reeves of Yukon; many grandchildren; one special daughter-in-law; several great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Jack Barker of Yukon, Cleo Barker of Norman, Wesley Barker of Blanchard and sisters Ruth Barker Watson of Yukon, Mary Barker Jennings of Bethany, and many cousins, friends, and loved ones.
