Homer R. Duncan

Homer Robert Duncan, 66, died yesterday morning at 12:30 o'clock at the Katherine Shaw Bethea hospital, Dixon, after a short illness. He entered the hospital Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at the Bracken Funeral Home, Polo, Sunday at 2 p.m., with Rev. Dale Knowles, visiting pastor of the Polo Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.

Homer Duncan was born in Spencer, SD, in 1880, the son of George and Amy Duncan. He was married to Ethel Welch, Polo, Sept. 22, 1944.

Besides his widow, six children by a former marriage survive him. All of Spencer, SD, they are: daughters Elsie, Marie and Lucy, and sons, Dale, Robert and George.
