Gracie Mae Music died Monday, July 23, 2001, at Kings Daughters Medical Center. Mrs. Music was born May 4, 1920, in Johnson County, to the late William and Ruthie Castle Grim. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Matthew Music, in 1995. Surviving are two sons, Rex Allen Music of Webbville, and Darl D. Music of Nippa; four daughters, Della Mae Spencer of Washington Courthouse, Ohio, Deborah Lynn McKenzie of Nippa, Nella Fay Scarberry and Rose Jean Thacker, both of Paintsville; one sister, Eunice Baker of Versailles. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Thursday, July 26, 11 a.m., at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating the service will be Michael Tackett and Dick VanHoose. Burial will follow in the Roy Meadows Cemetery at Nippa.
