Married on Thursday, June 29, at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Josephus Bailey, of Cobb, by Rev. George Merrifield, of Dodgeville, Mr. Milton R. Pritchett and Miss Mae Bailey. The wedding was a very pleasant one. Guests to the number of about twenty-five were present to tender congratulations and partake of the wedding feast. The presents were numerous and beautiful. The bride and groom have been life long residents of Cobb, where they will settle down to housekeeping in a comfortable home. Word has been received from Pacific Grove, California that Mrs. M.R. Pritchett, a former River Falls resident, passed away Monday morning, December 31, 1951, after a lingering illness. Funeral services were conducted in the Chapel by the Sea, Wednesday, January 2, at 10:00 a.m.
Since the death of her husband, she and her sister, Mrs. Edith Walters, have made their home together and during her failing health she has been cared for by her sister and her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Ronald Pritchett.
Her survivors are her daughter, Mrs. "Wink" Claflin (Edith), and son, Dr. Ronald Pritchett; two grandchildren, Don and Dianne Claflin; a little great granddaughter; two sisters, Edith Walters and Loretta Scott; two brothers, Homer and Verne Bailey, and several nieces and nephews.
