Deral L. Peacock, 59, a self-employed heavy equipment operator, died of respiratory failure Sunday at Veterans Affairs Hospital in Memphis. Services are 11 a.m. today at Coffeeville Church of Christ with burial in Fords Well Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Mr. Peacock was a Coffeeville native. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Coffeeville Church of Christ.
Survivors include: wife, Geneva; daughter, Carta Fly of Coffeeville; son. Quay Peacock of Coffeeville; sister, Emma Sue Cook of New Albany; brother, Charles Peacock of Seattle; mother, Gertrude Peacock of Coffeeville; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
