John Wilson Taken By Death
John Wilson, 78, of Watson, passed away at 7:30 o'clock yesterday morning in his home. He had been in failing health for some time. Survivors include his widow Mrs. Ida May Shafer Wilson and seven children; Mr. Frank Smith and Myrtle Floss Wilson, Harry, William and Harvey Wilson, all of Fairmont; Leland Wilson, of Weston and Mrs. Arley Bradley, of Lancaster. Two sisters, Mrs. Fanny Crogan, of Newburg, and Mrs. Sarah Bolyard of Grafton, survive with 31 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mr. Wilson was born August 5, 1860, in Preston County, a son of the late Eugene Garrett and Julia Ann Jeffreys Wilson. Burial was at Pisgah Cemetery.
