William "Bill" Lee Cochran was born December 1, 1930 in Leslie Arkansas to Oris Lee and Lela (Estes) Cochran. He passed away on September 5, 2013 surrounded by family at his home near Lowry City, Missouri. He served his country during the Korean war as a Sergeant Special Units Tank Commander and Parachutist. Bill retired in 1995 from Yellow Freight System. Bill was an avid sportsman and loved to hunt and fish. He also loved the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs. Left behind to honor Bill's memory is his wife Mary Jo (Ritchie) Cochran, of the home; 4 daughters, Angela Mefford of Gunn City, Mo., Robin Gardner of Holden, Mo., Kim Spence of Greenwood, Mo. And Lisa Dazis of Los Angeles, Ca.; 6 sons, Harold Hoff II of Lowry City, Mo., Darrell Anthony of Harrisonville, Mo., William R. Cochran of Warsaw, Mo., Craig Cochran of Los Angeles, Ca., Stephen Cochran of Reno, NV., Jack Cochran of Yakuma, WA.; 6 grandchildren, Andrea Anthony of Harrisonville, Mo., LeRoy and Tara Mefford of Gunn City, Mo., Dillon Anthony of El Dorado, Ks., William and Kailey Gardner of Holden, Mo and 3 great-grandchildren, Anthony, Jaycee and Cannon; 1 brother, James Cochran of Kansas City, Mo.
